How Prompt Guidelines for ChatGPT Mirror Effective Job Description Writing
(Richard Rosenow)
In his LinkedIn post, Richard Rosenow compares a widely circulating Prompt Engineering Diagram to the process for writing job descriptions:
Clarity is Key: Just like clear instructions help ChatGPT understand and respond accurately, clear job descriptions help candidates grasp the role's expectations.
Reference Texts Matter: Providing context, like reference texts for ChatGPT, ensures comprehensive understanding. For job descriptions, this means including specifics about the role and company culture.
Simplify Complex Tasks: Splitting complex tasks into simpler steps aids ChatGPT's processing. Similarly, detailing specific responsibilities in a job description makes the role more approachable.
Patience Pays Off: Giving ChatGPT time to 'think' is crucial for quality output. In job crafting, taking time to reflect and refine the description pays dividends in attracting the right talent.
Utilize Tools: Just as ChatGPT leverages external tools for better responses, use tools like keyword analysis to optimize job descriptions for better visibility.
Iterate and Improve: Testing changes with ChatGPT leads to better interactions. Likewise, updating and adapting job descriptions based on feedback ensures they remain relevant and effective.

Search startup Perplexity AI valued at $520 mln in funding from Bezos, Nvidia
(Reuters)
Big news in the AI world. Perplexity AI, an ambitious search startup, has grabbed the spotlight with a substantial $73.6 million funding boost:
💸 Investor Spotlight: Nvidia and Amazon's Jeff Bezos are among the big names backing this venture. The recent funding round, led by IVP, catapulted Perplexity's value to a whopping $520 million!
🤖 AI-Powered Search: Perplexity is redefining search with its AI-driven tools. It leverages various large language models, from OpenAI to Meta's Llama, offering users instant answers complete with sources and citations.
📊 User Traction: The platform's popularity is skyrocketing, with 45 million visits in December alone, a massive jump from 2.2 million in December 2022.
🌐 Challenging the Giant: Despite impressive growth, Perplexity is still a moonshot in a market dominated by Google, which holds about 90% share. But CEO Aravind Srinivas is confident, suggesting:
"Google is going to be viewed as something that's legacy and old, and Perplexity will be viewed as something that's the next generation and future."
