This week’s digest
A lot of talk (or rap) this week was about Drake and The Weeknd’s collab - although neither of these two individuals was actually involved. 🤯 The song was fully generated using AI and garnered a lot of attention (600k streams), prompting uproar from record labels and music artists alike. Read about it here.
We can expect to see lots of talk about the topic of IP x AI in the coming months. The last time the subject of music IP was majorly challenged was when Spotify took on the record labels. (see series The Playlist 🎬)
In this week’s newsletter, we look at:
🤖 Autonomous Agents - AutoGPT and BabyAGI - early signs that AI-driven systems are smart enough to work on their own, without the need of human involvement. Could they be the next recruiter sourcing tool / assistant?
🤨 How are candidates using ChatGPT? Including an example ChatGPT prompt to create your very own interview coach.

🛣 Auto GPT and BabyAGI
Developers have made "autonomous agents" that work with large language models to carry out a number of tasks in order (think personal assistant).
💻 What are autonomous agents? They are a software that adds automation to large language models like OpenAI's GPT-4.
🤖 How do they work? They automate tasks like research, coding, and to-do lists by giving the LLM a sequence of tasks to complete.
🚀 Examples of autonomous agents: BabyAGI and Auto-GPT.
Imagine a world where you tell an AI agent to find a list of candidates, create a shortlist based on certain criteria, and then reach out to those candidates by email based on pre-defined templates. 🤖🚀🎉
🧑🏽⚖️ How are candidates using ChatGPT?
We are hyper-focused on the way recruiters can use AI to get ahead of the curve. But it’s also interesting to think about candidate use cases. This LinkedIn post summarizes some candidate use cases for ChatGPT:
Using ChatGPT to understand job descriptions 🧐
Creating Resumes / Cover Letters using ChatGPT ✏️
Preparing for interviews using ChatGPT (e.g. ‘What are the top X most common interview questions for role X’) ❓
The future looks like this:
Recruiter writes bullet point job description → Chat GPT expands it to a full job description → Candidate summarizes said job description back into bullet points ♻️
GPT Use Case
💡Use this prompt to create your very on interview coach
This post from Jan Tegze shows an example prompt that you could use to create your very own interview coach. 👨🏼🏫
Interesting to see how interview prep of the future may look.
